Refund, Return, and Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: March 12, 2026

1. Appointment Cancellations

1.1 Cancelling Scheduled Services

If you need to cancel or reschedule a service appointment, please contact Houston Appliance Repair as early as possible. We may reserve the right to apply a cancellation fee for last-minute cancellations, missed appointments, or situations where the technician is unable to access the property or appliance as scheduled.

1.2 Missed Appointments

If no one is available at the scheduled service time, or if access to the property or appliance is not provided, a service call or missed appointment fee may apply.

2. Deposits and Special-Order Parts

2.1 Deposit Policy

In some cases, we may require a deposit before scheduling follow-up service or ordering special parts. Deposits are generally applied toward the final invoice for the related repair service.

2.2 Non-Refundable Parts Orders

Deposits or payments made for special-order, non-stock, or manufacturer-specific parts may be non-refundable once the order has been placed. If a part has already been ordered on your behalf, any refund request will be subject to supplier return policies and any applicable restocking or cancellation fees.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Completed Services

Refunds are generally not provided for diagnostic visits, completed labor, or services already performed. If an issue continues after service, we will review the situation and determine whether additional service is appropriate under any applicable labor warranty or prior service terms.

3.2 Customer Concerns

If you are dissatisfied with a recent service, we encourage you to contact us promptly. We will make reasonable efforts to review the concern and, where appropriate, offer a follow-up visit, adjustment, or other resolution based on the original repair performed.

3.3 Diagnostic Charges

A diagnostic fee may apply for the technician’s time, travel, and inspection, even if you decide not to proceed with the recommended repair.

4. Returns

4.1 Parts Returns

Installed parts are generally not returnable once they have been used, installed, or specially ordered for your appliance, except where required by law or approved by the supplier.

4.2 Unused Parts

If an unused part is eligible for return, any refund or credit may be reduced by shipping, handling, restocking, or supplier return fees.

5. Warranty-Related Service

5.1 Labor Coverage

Any labor warranty, if offered, applies only to the specific repair completed by Houston Appliance Repair and only for the period stated on the invoice or service receipt.

5.2 Exclusions

Warranty coverage does not apply to unrelated failures, separate component breakdowns, misuse, abuse, clogged lines, electrical issues, improper installation, cosmetic damage, power surges, or work performed by third parties after our service visit.

5.3 Requesting Warranty Service

If you believe there is an issue related to a recent repair, you should contact us within a reasonable time and allow us an opportunity to inspect the appliance and determine whether the issue falls within the original repair scope.

6. Estimates and Billing

6.1 Estimates

We may provide an estimate before repair work is performed. Any additional work beyond the originally approved scope should not be completed without customer authorization.

6.2 Approval of Work

By approving a repair, you authorize Houston Appliance Repair to perform the agreed service and to charge for the approved labor, parts, and applicable service fees.

7. Policy Changes

Houston Appliance Repair reserves the right to modify or update this Refund, Return, and Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes become effective when posted on our website.
