Terms of Use

Effective Date: March 12, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services offered by Houston Appliance Repair (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our website or services.

2. Scope of Services

Houston Appliance Repair provides professional appliance diagnostic, repair, maintenance, and parts replacement services for residential customers. Our services may include work on refrigerators, freezers, ovens, ranges, cooktops, dishwashers, washers, dryers, microwaves, and other household appliances, depending on the service request and technician availability.

3. Service Appointments

3.1 Booking Appointments

Service appointments may be requested by phone, through our website, or through any other contact method we make available. Appointment times are subject to availability, travel conditions, technician scheduling, and service-area coverage.

3.2 Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we ask that you notify us as early as possible. We may reserve the right to apply a service charge in cases of last-minute cancellations, missed appointments, or when access to the property is not provided as scheduled.

3.3 Access to the Appliance

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance and surrounding work area. You are also responsible for sharing any information that may affect diagnosis or repair, including prior service history, error codes, unusual appliance behavior, or installation conditions.

4. Estimates and Payment Terms

4.1 Diagnostic Evaluation

In many cases, a diagnostic visit is required to determine the source of the issue and recommend the proper repair. Any applicable diagnostic charge will be explained at or before the appointment.

4.2 Repair Estimates

Before proceeding with repair work beyond diagnosis, we will provide an estimate based on the issue identified and the parts or labor believed to be required. No additional repair work should be performed without customer approval.

4.3 Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless another arrangement has been agreed to in advance. We may accept payment by cash, check, major credit card, or other approved payment methods available at the time of service.

5. Parts, Labor, and Warranty

5.1 Labor Warranty

Any warranty on labor, if offered, applies only to the specific repair performed and only for the period stated on your invoice or service receipt.

5.2 Parts Warranty

Parts installed during service may be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, if applicable. Unless expressly stated in writing, Houston Appliance Repair does not provide any separate warranty beyond the manufacturer’s parts coverage.

5.3 Warranty Limitations

Warranty coverage, if any, does not apply to unrelated failures, new issues that arise after service, misuse, abuse, improper installation, power surges, clogged lines, external conditions, consumable items, cosmetic issues, or problems caused by third-party work or previously existing damage.

5.4 Warranty Service

If you believe there is an issue related to a recent repair, you should contact us promptly and allow us a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, where applicable, address the issue under the terms of the original service.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Houston Appliance Repair shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to food spoilage, water damage, loss of use, loss of time, loss of income, or damage arising from delays in service, unavailable parts, manufacturer defects, or pre-existing appliance conditions.

While we aim to perform all work carefully and professionally, we are not responsible for issues resulting from hidden defects, aged components, improper prior installation, limited workspace, or conditions outside our control.

7. Service Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse, reschedule, or discontinue service where conditions are unsafe, access is restricted, the appliance has been altered or improperly installed, required parts are unavailable, or the requested work falls outside the scope of the service originally scheduled.
