What’s the safety issue?
The door assembly can come loose and detach. If that happens, the door may fall or shift suddenly, creating an injury hazard for anyone nearby.
What to do now
- Check the hinges right away.
Look for a hinge pin that appears “popped up” at the top or bottom hinge—this can indicate the pin is loosening. - Contact Liebherr to schedule a free in-home repair.
- Can you keep using it?
- If the hinge is not loose and the door is operating normally, you may continue using the refrigerator until it is repaired.
- If you see a loose/popped hinge pin or the door feels unstable, stop using it and arrange service immediately.
